Vacuum forming

Vacuum molding is used to produce advertising items, packaging and other plastic articles.

Using vacuum moulding, plastic sheet is heated to a specific temperature, after which it is stretched over the mould and vacuum is used to draw the plastic to the shape of the mould. Vacuum moulded details are mostly used in mass production.
